יוסף בן מתתיהו [Antiquities of the Jews: Book XV, chapter 3, § 1]: Birth outside of Israel, Samaria, Judea, Jerusalem, and wherever the Sun riseth first does not disqualify a Levitical Kohen from the Ministerial duties of The High Priesthood.
The High Priest is required to spend as much of their time in the Home of God as possible ["Yad", l.c. v. 7].
Leviticus 3:22: All the sins of Humanity ~ from Generation to Generation ~ are regarded as also belonging to The High Priest of The Most High God.
The High Priest [Ha'Kohen Ha'Gadol], like all priests, are to be barefoot when ministering within the Heavenly Earthbound Temple.
Freedman, David Noel; Allen C. Myers; Astrid B. Beck: The traditionalists with Hebrew/Aramaic names contested with the Hellenizers with Greek names over who would be the High Priest of Israel.

HEBREW BRACHA: "Yehi ratzon sheyihye li lirefuah"
ENGLISH TRANSLATION: "May it be Your Will that this lead to my healing"

YEHUDA ALTEIN: One of the purposes of the breastplate was to invoke Divine direction when the Jewish community was in doubt. When confronted with a weighty dilemma, such as whether to wage war against a neighboring nation, the high priest would stand facing the Ark of the Covenant, and the king or another influential figure would stand behind him, facing his back. The individual would pose his question quietly, so that only he could hear it, and the high priest would reflect upon the holy name placed within the breastplate. Miraculously, light would shine out of the engraved letters, which when rearranged would form the answer.
The ability to receive Divine answers via the breastplate ceased with the destruction of the First Temple.

DOREEN ELLEN BELL~DOTAN: If I told someone raised in the Christian tradition that the Hebrew word for "stoning" is very similar to the word for intelligence and that what Torah is saying is: If someone sins, bombard them with knowledge.
Would they believe me?
Jewish Law makes it virtually impossible for an actual stoning to ever take place.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” -Jesus (Matthew 18:19)
LISA NATOLI: Normally we think of sentences like “if two of you shall agree” and “where two or three are gathered” as talking about people.
But what if it’s not two people that Jesus is talking about, but the “two” is two thoughts in your own mind.
Now it makes perfect sense. I have “agreed” many times in Jesus’ name with another person about something and nothing happened at all. I have gathered in groups in “two or three” and Jesus is there in the midst and still nothing spectacular occurred. So what the heck?
He’s not talking about people. He’s talking about thoughts. If two of your thoughts should agree on anything they ask, it would be done.

KLAUDIA KRYSTYNA: Women make coffee to keep mourners awake while they chant and dance around a fire. Haitians believe the celebration will help the deceased return to their ancestors.
"As the host or hostess, you’ll need to provide refreshment for the attending mourners as the familiar representative of the deceased, both during el velorio and the subsequent novena. The most common food is pan (sweetbread) served with cafe de olla (coffee made in a large pot) or tequila for the male attendees. Usually, mourners that have come to pay their respects bring sugar or styrofoam cups or even alcohol along with their condolences and floral arrangements to help offset the cost. Nonetheless, there is a cost and depending on what you serve and the number of attendees, it could be a nice chunk of cash."

{A Broom} is generally used to purify and protect, and to ritually cleanse a circle~casting area before magic is performed by symbolically sweeping away negative energies and astral build up.
An upward pointed {Broom} (bristles up), especially over or near a doorway, is also supposed to help protect the house from evil spirits or negative energies.
