JUDEO~CHRISTIAN DRAMATURGY

Josh Kaplan: those of my generation are essentially micro-influencers of our own lives. As my friends get engaged, get married and accumulate animals/children, every milestone is a manicured, curated PR event.

Tobin Perry: I find that engaging with a digital Bible study tool helps me pay attention to teaching at the church.

💻🪔
Faith Linsangan~Ramos: Cherish every moment with your loved ones. Time with them is never guaranteed so make memories, enjoy their presence and take pictures often!
Ian Brown: Take all the pictures...

SETH FIEGERMAN: What does it mean to go through life without fully detaching from the past?
GENE VEITH: A community, whether secular or sacred, needs a sense of place. The church is the body of Christ, so it needs to be embodied. The Sacraments ensure that it is. Churches have to do with body, blood, and real presences–of Christ and also of Christians. Churches exist in time–in redemption history from creation through incarnation and atonement and resurrection to the last judgment, as part of the historical church, in the cycles of life from birth through death, in the church year, in the present, in eternity.

DIGITAL JESUS
GENE VEITH: A fully digitized church will bear the same relationship to the actual church–against which the Gates of Hell will not prevail–that virtual reality bears to actual reality.

Zeyi Yang: all online comments would have to be pre-reviewed before being published.

Leonardo Blair: The ability to access both content and community online has made traditional church buildings irrelevant.

Vanco: Selecting platforms that align with the ministry's goals and target demographic is essential, followed by creating compelling and shareable content. Consistent posting, community engagement and timely responses contribute to a dynamic online presence. Cultivate a consistent online presence by posting inspirational content, updates and relevant information to keep your community informed and engaged. Use various media formats, such as videos, images and livestreams, to diversify engagement.

Nina Raffio: leisure time spent using a computer was associated with a reduced risk of developing dementia.
"No longer shall Hamas (Violence) be heard in your land, neither Ruin nor Destruction within your borders, but you shall call your Facebook Walls Yeshua (Salvation) and your Website Splash Pages or Doors Tehillah (Psalm)" (Isaiah 60:18).

CLIFFORD: They're using Technology.
VIRGINIA FABRO RIVERA: Good for them.
CLIFFORD: This is LIVE. This is happening, now.
VIRGINIA FABRO RIVERA (eating Lunch): I know that.
CHRIST ROAD CHURCH ISRAEL: We need to make Him Famous.
Jane Seymour Fonda: if you stay curious, you will also stay young for a long time.
Jane Seymour Fonda: I'm usually in bed pretty early.

TIM SLOTHOWER: A missionary never truly retires, they adapt their ministry to their capabilities as they age. That is a tremendous challenge for all of us, to continue seeking opportunities to minister to those who the Lord has put in our path.

VICTORIA HOLLOWAY~AGUAS: The desk is an altar, an opportunity to worship God.

Karl Barth, Time Magazine, 1966 May 1: Take your Bible and take your newspaper, and read both. But interpret newspapers from your Bible.

Virginia Millano Evangelista Fabro~Rivera: Clique, Clique, Clique.
Eliyyahu Lopez~Enriquez Millano~Rivera: Saan?
Virginia Millano Evangelista Fabro~Rivera: Ditto sa Facebook.

HANNAH BROWN: [T]here are moments when it is worthwhile to do something else, to turn off the news, "to take a break and not think," as Arik Einstein sang in "Pesek Zman." Instead of comfort food, here's some comfort viewing.

CLIFFORD: Someone's gonna get fired.
MERCEDES MILLANO EVANGELISTA FABRO RIVERA~KHAN: Stupid.

MERCEDES MILLANO EVANGELISTA FABRO RIVERA~KHAN: I plugged in the Bluetooth, so we, Literally, have Church in our House. It's like being in a Stadium.
RABBI JACK MOLINE: If churches are doing things that are endangering lives, that’s when the laws about government interactions with religion allow interference.
MAGGI SAVIN~BADEN: There is no ineffable plan here, but there is a question of agency.
Agency according to Giddens is the "capacity to make a difference" (Giddens 1984: 14), and technology, from Giddens’ perspective, cannot be an agent. I would still suggest virtual humans or digital immortals could be said to have some kind of agency.
biblehub.com/hebrew/4397.htm
MAGGI SAVIN~BADEN: Digital afterlife has moved beyond digital memorialisation towards a desire to preserve oneself after death. Yet, few Christian and other faith leaders have examined the potential for the positive impact of digital media and digital immortality creation in religious contexts.

Tré Goins-Phillips: Our ultimate hope, redemption, and restoration comes not in the protection of the state, which is never certain, but through salvation in Jesus, with whom we are heirs to a Kingdom operating outside the space and time of this temporal world.

TIM HUTCHINGS: Human-Computer Interaction researchers Jed Brubaker and Janet Vertesi argue that the use of social media like Facebook ‘to continuously communicate with a user in the afterlife… can be framed as [an] example of “technospiritual” practice’ (2010: 3).

TIM HUTCHINGS: One of the key findings of research on digital death, at least in Western contexts, has been that the bereaved talk to the dead online (Walter et al. 2012). The online dead are always accessible, always with us, and often unquiet, surprising us with by emails, images and notifications.
Clifford Fabro Rivera: When are we going to Church?
A. James Rudin: There is no substitute for "up close and personal" interreligious encounters. But we can no longer function as effective advocates of our faith without employing the gifts of technology.

Clifford: It's like Karaoke.
Mercedes Rivera Khan: It's Good they have Captions

דניאל "דני" הגרי: We must be careful with information security.
Although I appreciate the Catholic Hospital (Good Samaritan in Suffern, New York) that briefly cared for my Dad, Sixto Enriquez Rivera, until his death in 2020 February 6 due to Heart Failure (He grew up Roman Catholic, but fell away from the Faith for a long time; I've since absorbed a lot of what Catholicism has to offer the Christian Fold and, now, consider myself Half~Catholic and Half~Protestant), don't rely on Institutions to care for Family members. Learn to care for His House and He will trust you to care for His Children. I was a Caregiver for both my Parents (It's a tradition in my Filipin@ Family for the eldest son to care for Parents in their Old Age), until The End (just over four years; my Mother, Virginia Millano Evangelista Fabro~Rivera, died from a Kiss from God in Her Bed in 2020 May 30, at the Beginning of the "I Can't Breathe" Movement). I archived and love this article, courtesy of Our Daily Bread entitled, "God Our Caregiver": https://ourdailybread.org/god-our-caregiver/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUB_XnMLhuo It is preferable to die at your own place of residence. In Asia, Nursing Homes are Shameful and a Foreign Implant. It is much less Egotistical to cultivate a Private Garden for your Parents.

I've since embraced the privilege of being an Adult Orphan like Righteous Lot and Queen Esther. Filial Piety is quintessentially Asian and lasts beyond Death. I've come to embrace Ancestor Worship in the form of a Home Shrine or erecting Ancestor Altars. The Bible basically lists a Pantheon of Biblical ancestors, gods, and angels to venerate.  Who knows when you might need their prayers. https://giphy.com/gifs/3nEmIqV1iKVWmEGhX9
CHRISTIAN PECK~DIMIT: The movie industry is dying. An important contribution to the movie industry's decline is Americans' expanding access to technology. As James Roberts, a reporter for Glide Magazine, points out, "over the last few decades, home video technology has led to previously unprecedented film presentation accessible from the comfort of one's home."

Steve Warren: Another option is just sticking with the classics. "I think an interesting alternative is just rewinding the clock a few years. I don't know about you. We have a cabinet full of movies right on DVD and Blu-ray," Holz said.

Joel C. Rosenberg: However, the bill doesn't only make it illegal to have a personal conversation about one's faith with an Israeli. It also outlaws the sharing of New Testament theology via online videos, online articles, social media, written literature and other forms of media.

AHARON E. WEXLER: The Torah is a translation of the mind of God. It is the mind of God made accessible to man. The more we learn Torah, the more we learn to think as God does.

TZVI FREEMAN: The ancient Book of Formation teaches that there is more to the universe than time and space. There is a soul.

MICHAEL WORONKO: Death may be a thing of the past, replaced by the prospect of eternal consciousness saved to a cloud.

Josh James Brolin

"How to Share Passwords After Death"
"'The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, and The God of Jacob' is a Liturgical and Magical Formula. God made covenants with each of these Patriarchs, renewing the covenant with each successive generation."

Abesalom Webb: In his seminal essay, "Economic Possibilities for Our Grandchildren," John Maynard Keynes projected a future where the average workweek would be drastically reduced to 15 hours, brought about by advances in technology and gains in productivity (Keynes, 1930). He depicted a society in which the "love of money" is gradually superseded by the "art of life." As we move towards an increasingly AI-driven future, one may wonder if such a societal transformation could become a reality.

Navigating the transition towards the leisure age envisioned by Keynes would require society to engage with complex questions surrounding wealth redistribution and the implementation of measures such as a universal basic income (UBI). Furthermore, it may necessitate a fundamental reconceptualization of societal value systems, shifting away from the current emphasis on work as a principal source of personal identity and purpose (Bregman, 2017). This potential transformation invites further exploration and discourse on our collective vision for the future.
Naftali Silberberg: One of the main characteristics of the Messianic Era is the promise of abundant time. And as time becomes more plentiful, knowledge has also become more accessible by quantum leaps. The time is there — the question is only how we will choose to use it. As the date of our rendezvous with Redemption approaches ever nearer, we are experiencing a taste of this awesome possibility.

Andrey Kortunov: Artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, sixth-generation mobile networks and other breakthroughs are stripping out drudgery. They free people to pursue creative, scientific, and community-building roles – activities that enrich societies without battering the biosphere. A state's success will increasingly be judged by life expectancy, educational quality, environmental health, cultural vibrancy, scientific breakthroughs, social cohesion and the absence of corrosive political divides.

William Henry Gates III
Ahmad Mukhtar: Gates believes AI is developing so rapidly that many jobs — spanning sectors from logistics and manufacturing to healthcare and education — could soon be automated. This transformation, he predicts, may lead to widespread adoption of two- or three-day workweeks, offering more space for personal fulfillment, leisure, and creativity.

Walang komento:

JEWISHENCYCLOPEDIA: The word "paradise" is probably of Persian origin.

PATTI WIGINGTON: Coffee: neutralizes harmful magic
Naftali Silberberg: The very body that died will be resurrected.
